Travel insurance (essential)
A passport is required, and must be valid for 6 months after the date of travel. The retreat begins on Sunday, June 4 at 3pm and concludes on Friday, June 9 at 5:00 pm. We provide complimentary pick up from and to Aix-En-Provence TGV train station and can provide airport transport at an extra charge. Should you require shared accommodation at the hotel or are providing your own accommodation, please advise us for pricing and options.
FLIGHTS The closest airport is Marseille Airport. From the airport to Calas/Cabries, students staying in accommodation at Ashtanga Yoga Shala Provence can either catch a taxi directly to Ashtanga Yoga Shala Provence or catch the airport shuttle bus to the Aix-en-Provence TGV train station where they will be met and driven back to Ashtanga Yoga Shala Provence. Airport shuttle buses run every 30 minutes, cost around 4.50 euros and take about 15 minutes to the TGV train station.
TRAINS:The closest train station is Aix-en-Provence TGV train station. The TGV train station is about a 5 to 10 minute drive from Claire’s Shala.

* In order to secure your spot, you must pay the workshop fee in full. Please register only after you have checked the dates against your calendar to be sure you can truly commit to the retreat. Our refund policy will be included in the registration form.
Step 2 Return registration form via email and pay your registration via the details. We will send a confirmation once we receive your information.
Step 3 Get our confirmation email before you make any air flight ticket purchase. A minimum of 5 registered participants is required to run this event. Group maximum is 15. Again, please ensure you have travel insurance.

Soul Revive is a five day, women only yoga and life coaching experience designed to inspire your body, mind and spirit against the backdrop of one of the world’s most charming and soul nurturing locations, Aix-en-Provence, France.
Every day of SOUL REVIVE PROVENCE has been dreamed up to take you on a personal journey. This will be a week of feeling beautiful inside and out, taking the pace down a notch, creating new chapters and restoring balance. Through daily yoga lessons designed to heal and detoxify your body and lifestyle workshops that will soothe and inspire, this is the perfect getaway. Our goal for SOUL REVIVE PROVENCE is to help you unplug, become immersed in the pleasure of the moment and emerge, refreshed and energized.
THE LOCATION: When you stroll in Aix-en-Provence, you’re literally walking in the footsteps of the world’s greatest artists and cultural
visionaries. This was the birthplace of Paul Cézanne, the lavender fields are in bloom and inspiration is everywhere – it’s an open invitation to get reacquainted with the art of truly living. This is your time to escape the everyday and to slow down and bask in the traditional beauty of classic French life whether it’s navigating the sights, sounds and smells of a bustling farmer’s market or trying to keep count of the over 1000 fountains that will dot your meanderings through the day. Wherever our schedule takes us through the day, this is the perfect place to contemplate new directions, appreciate the beauty of life and rejuvenate.
YOUR HOSTS: SOUL REVIVE PROVENCE is hosted by yoga teacher Claire Phoebe Saunders from Ashtanga Yoga Shala Provence and life coach Susan Paget. Claire and Sue met eight years ago on vacation in Mysore, India where they were both practicing yoga. They credit their combined 34 years of practice as having a profoundly positive impact on all aspects of their lives and these lessons are what they look forward to sharing with you. And because SOUL REVIVE PROVENCE is hosted in Claire’s home village of Calas (a 10 minute drive from historic Aix-en Provence), you will get a true French experience with the guidance of a local.
A TYPICAL DAY ON SOUL REVIVE
After a good night’s sleep in your quaint accommodation (with enough time in the morning to get out of bed at a leisurely pace), you’ll stroll to Claire’s Shala (Sanskrit for yoga studio) where she’ll lead you through a practice that is inspired by ancient,traditional yoga postures and that can be accommodated for all levels, from pure beginners to long time students. After yoga, Claire and Sue will guide everyone through a brief meditation, with plenty of down to earth instruction and tips for getting the most out of it.
After practice, we’ll head to the breakfast area for a traditional French spread of fresh baked goods, farm to table produce and steaming café au lait. Relaxed after a good meal and our morning yoga, Sue will give you a focus for the day and lead you through insightful practices including morning journaling. There will be opportunities throughout the day to contemplate your specific focus using the surrounds of village life and the French countryside as inspirational touchstones. Every day’s yoga practices and coaching exercises will build on each other so that by the end of your retreat, you will have the confidence and inspiration to continue your retreat rituals in the real world.
We want you to thoroughly enjoy Aix-en- Provence without being tied to a rigid schedule so we’ve scattered two organized excursions through the week with the remaining days to feature a lighter gathering over afternoon tea to focus on life coaching group work. On other days you’ll have time to do as you please whether it’s wander, nap, read or take a beauty treatment. There will be plenty of time during the excursion to chat with Sue about any of your “next chapter” dreams.
Evenings are at your leisure. During the day you and your new friends from the retreat have probably spotted a divine cafe that would be perfect for wine and dinner or you might want to bask in the freedom of not planning anything and luxuriating in spending time alone. It’s up to you but if you need advice, Claire is happy to give ideas that will be perfect for what you’re looking for. Whatever your choice for the evening, your senses will be fully satisfied and body totally relaxed, ready to drift off to enjoy another day ahead.
ABOUT CLAIRE SAUNDERS:
Claire is one of only a few in the world, to have received level 2 authorisation from the Krishna Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) in Mysore, India. Claire is a dedicated student of the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method. She maintains a daily practice and has travelled almost yearly for the past decade to study with Sri K Pattabhi Jois, his grandson Sharath and daughter Saraswathi. Claire is Australian by nationality and lives in France with her French husband. In addition to her passion for Ashtanga Yoga, she also holds a bachelors degree in International Relations, a Masters Degree in Linguistics from the University of Sydney, Australia and a Post Graduate qualification in English Language Teaching from Cambridge University, England.

Susan Paget is an author, professional coach and online commentator for women over 40.
